Tong Chen, MS

Tong Chen is a third-year graduate student in developmental psychology working with Dr. Jenae Neiderhiser. She received her B.S. in Psychology from Tsinghua University, China, in 2018. She is interested in studying the impact of early life risk on children’s development of internalizing problems. She is particularly interested in how prenatal risk factors and early family environment shape the pathway to child adjustment, and using genetically informed designs to investigate gene-environment interplay in these processes.
